An Update on Cognitive Dysfunction in Dogs

This lecture provides an overview of the recently published guidelines for the
diagnosis and monitoring of canine cognitive dysfunction syndrome (CCDS),
including the proposed diagnostic criteria and severity classification. Particular
emphasis is placed on recognizing the characteristic DISHAA signs and
differentiating CCDS from medical, neurological, sensory and behavioural
conditions that can present with similar changes. The lecture also discusses current
treatment and management options
