IAVC Canine Essentials of Veterinary Chiropractic Course 2025-2026
New hybrid format: Course participants can begin immediately learning important veterinary chiropractic theory using the IAVC online learning platform upon full registration. This allows students to learn from home at their own pace and convenience, the knowledge and background information which will optimize the learning experience during the in-person practical sessions. The combined use of learning platform theory and in-person practical hands-on sessions form an ideal framework, developing the participant’s knowledge and skills throughout the duration of the course.

About the IAVC Program:
The International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic has been leading the education and growth of animal chiropractic in Europe for over 20 years, teaching in both Germany and England and further internationally. This course offers both veterinarians and chiropractors and students of both professions an opportunity to learn and enjoy a new and exciting inter-disciplinary qualification directly related to their profession which will expand their area of expertise during their entire careers.

Modul 1

Inhalt:

Sacropelvic/Thoracolumbar Practical Session: November 22nd – 23rd, 2025
Comprehensive practical sessions with horses including safety and handling of the animals, and an introduction to the quadruped chiropractic adjustment. The focus is on motion palpation, hand and body positioning, and treatment techniques of the quadruped sacropelvic and thoracolumbar region.

Modul 2

27. Februar 2026 - 01. März 2026 | 09:00 - 18:30

Inhalt:

Cervical/Extremity Practical Session: February 28th – March 1st, 2026
assessment and treatment techniques will be reviewed. Comprehensive practical sessions with horses focusing on, hand and body positioning, the chiropractic adjustment and treatment techniques as well as motion palpation of the quadruped cervical spine and extremities.

Modul 3

27. März 2026 - 28. März 2026 | 09:00 - 18:30

Inhalt:

Veterinary Chiropractic Integration – Practical Session: March 28th – 29th, 2026
A review of all animal chiropractic assessment and treatment techniques. Comprehensive practical sessions with horses focusing on case management and treatment of the quadruped, as well as a final practical exam.
