Manifestation
Bladder be Safe: Urogenital Diseases in Rabbits and Guinea Pigs
16 septembre 2026 | 12:00-13:00 | Webinaire
Urinary scald, haematuria, straining, vocalising, lethargy and hyporexia/anorexia. These are all common reasons for rabbits and guinea pigs to be presented to veterinarians. It is important to recognise that these clinical presentations can be associated with urogenital diseases beyond cystitis or urinary tract infections and often require nuanced and holistic insights to achieve a successful outcome.
This presentation will comprehensively cover the anatomic, physiologic, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of urogenital medicine and surgery in rabbit and guinea pigs. Using an evidence-based approach, the management of specific urogenital conditions in these species will also be discussed.
